Award in Emergency First Aid at Work – Level 2 – (1 day)
First Aid at Work – Level 3 – (3 days)
In line with the Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981, employers must ensure that first aid provision is 'adequate and appropriate in the circumstances'. To fulfil this criterion it is recommended that employers assess their First Aid needs by identifying any specific work hazards and ensuring that sufficient first aid equipment, facilities and personnel are available to deal with the possible consequences of these hazards. This could range from calling for an ambulance to providing assistance to a casualty by administering first aid.

Level 2 Award in Hygiene (Infection Control) in Health and Social Care
In the UK over a million people are employed as carers and millions more provide informal care and support for relatives and friends. This qualification is designed as an introduction to hygiene, ensuring that vulnerable people are not exposed to unnecessary risks. This qualification is aimed at employees who have already received basic health and safety training and would benefit from additional focused training in hygiene hazards and controls. This would include carers and others who provide cleaning and support services in a broad range of contexts.
Health & Safety – Levels 1, 2 & 3
Employers are responsible for providing safe and healthy workplace conditions and the right systems and methods for safe activities. Employees also have a vital part to play in the equation. They need the right knowledge and the right attitude to ensure this knowledge is implemented. This demands proper training in the basics of health and safety, as well as specific training for individual tasks.
