CCTV systems are now being used within the UK by various agencies and private establishments. CCTV training is not only an essential element for those monitoring public space using CCTV equipment; it can also lead to large savings for any company that has CCTV in Operation. Our CCTV Training Courses are deliverered by our specialist trainers who have been involved in monitoring CCTV equipment and individuals through Private Investigations and Surveillance. Many of them still play active roes in this sector. The ability for a CCTV Operator to follow correct protocols whilst remaining within the Law is an essential factor while operating in this sector. All this is imperative in maintaining public safety and also succesful identification and prosecution of criminals.

Who is the course for?
For those currently working as, or wishing to begin work as, a CCTV Operator. On successful completion of the CCTV Training course and showing an understanding of the underpinning knowledge through assessed work the delegates will be able to apply for an SIA licence as a CCTV Operator.What are the entry requirements?
There are none, however basic levels of English literacy and numeracy are assumed. You must also be able to provide proof of Identification and proof of address as per SIA guidelines.
How long is the course?
The course is delivered over 3 consecutive days. There will be work required to be done away from the classroom which will need to be presented to the assessor two weeks later. This is then assessed and marked accordingly. If the work reaches the required standard the award will be given.What does the course involve?
Delegates must complete and pass both units 1 and 2 as outlined below. Success will achieve a Level 2 Award in CCTV operations and allow delegates to apply for their SIA licence. The course requires you to undertake the role of a CCTV operator where you will track, log and report activities on a suspect or activity.
